Thank you J. S. Helwig & Son, LLC for being one of our Title Sponsors in this year's Forney Red Raiders Golf Tournament
This year our Forney Red Raiders Cheer Teams competed in some stuff competition as they placed quite well in this year's PLSL Cheer Competition. Our K-2 team competed at the 1st-2nd grade level and placed 3rd. Our 3rd grade team competed at the 3rd-4th grade level and placed 4th. Finally, our 4th-6th grade team competed at the 5th-6th grade level and placed 3rd. This ladies did an amazing job and really represented RaiderNation well. Thank you Coaches, Team Moms, and Directors on your dedication, hard work, commitment, and sacrifice with helping make this cheer season a great one for the ladies.
Our cheer program is definitely on the rise as we will have only one 6th grader that will be moving on to middle school next year. Our returners are predicted to have a very successful next season as our coaches will be working on getting the teams geared up and ready to compete and bring home a 1st place team for the first time while being in PLSL. Our goal is to reach a number of 100 plus cheerleading participants next season so don't miss out as RaiderNation is quickly growing in cheer and football.

Our Forney Red Raiders football organization had a very successful 2022 regular season with a record of 48-11. We had 3 teams (Kinder, 1st, 5th-Briggs) finish the regular season in 1st place with them all having an undefeated record. We had 1 team (2nd grade) finish in 2nd place, 3 teams (3rd, 4th, 6th) finish in 3rd place and once team (5th-Noel) tie for 4th place. All teams have advanced to the 2022 PLSL Playoffs and 4 teams (Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 5th-Briggs) received a first round bye and are expected to play at Jackson Middle School in Forney on 11/12/22. We will have 4 teams playing 11/05/22 at Kaufman High School with favorable opportunities to advance to the next round. This year any team that advances to the Super Bowl will have a chance to win it all at AT&T Stadium on 11/19/2022.
We are also having our 1st Turkey Bowl held at Jackson Middle School in Forney on 11/26/22 as well. Each Raider team that is participating will look to face an opponent that isn't on their normal PLSL schedule.
Please make sure you come show your support to our Forney Red Raiders organization as we are having our strongest year yet as whole.
The Red Raiders wrap-up the final week of the regular season with at 7-1 organization record. 5th-Noel comes back to win against the Greenville Lions in OT with a score 21-20. The 1st grade flag team beat the Kaufman County Cowboys with a OT win for the second time this season with the score ending 6-0 like the first game they had earlier this season. 2nd, 4th, 5th-Briggs cruise victories against Community while 6th grade does the same against Sunnyvale. 3rd grade to a lose to the Greenville Lions as that drops them to the 3rd seed as we go into the playoffs. Kinder had a bye the last week of the regular season as they will see again in the semifinals 11/12/22 at 9:00. Thank you Coaches and Team Moms for all your hard work, sacrifice, commitment, and willingness to help make this season a successful for the kids and our organization.
